Summer and autumn

Hike to the fells and wilderness huts.

Pick cloudberries, blueberries and lingonberries.

Fish whitefish, european perch and northern pike.

Row or paddle in the lake around fell landscapes, rowing boats are available for guests.

Cook sausages and fish in our camping shelters.

Enjoy the silence, clean air, spacious nature with peatlands, lakes and fells.

From the end of May until mid-July you can experience the wonder of nightless nights during which the sun doesn’t set below horizon at all.

Winter and spring

Cross-country skiing

You can access the ski trail right from the yard of the cabins.

We maintain a cross-country-skiing trail around the property that has no difficult downhill sections. You can practice your skills on a flat and easy trail.

Muonio’s ski trail network (classic and skate-skiing) crosses through our property. The link below provides a ski trail map that also displays the schedule of trail maintenance. Muonio ski trail map »

We have a separate building for the maintenance of skis where you can find ski wax etc.

Snowshoeing

We maintain easy snowshoeing trails around the property. A few pairs of snowshoes are available for guests.

Downhill skiing

Fells with downhill skiing services are less than a 45 minute drive away from our cabins (Olos 12 km, Pallas 30 km, Ylläs 35 km, Levi 40 km).

Northern lights

We have no street lights or other light pollution around our property. You can admire northern lights right from the yard or windows of the cabin, ice of Jerisjärvi lake or camping shelter by a campfire.
